Job vacancy: Student assistant (SHK/WHF) from October/November 2026
The Chair of Social and Personality Psychology is looking for a student assistant (SHK) to work 5 hours per week, with a start date of October/November 2026.
Requirements
- Enrolled on a Bachelor's degree programme in Psychology
- Interest in issues relating to social and personality psychology
- Good knowledge of standard software (e.g. MS Office)
- A conscientious and independent approach to work
- Very good written and spoken English for communicating within the team
- Knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g. R), or willingness to acquire this knowledge
- Knowledge of Typo3, or willingness to learn it
Responsibilities
- Supporting the department's research projects
- Learning to use statistical analysis software under supervision
- Learning to programme online surveys (e.g. Sosci Survey)
- Literature research and sourcing
- Supporting the teaching activities of the department's staff
- Administrative support tasks
